Registration

September 11th update Dear ITS registrant, unfortunately we have now reached capacity for our banquet so if you register now your registration will not include a banquet ticket. You will be able to attend the welcome reception, posters, demos, lunches, coffee/tea and research papers, just not the banquet. We are seeking ways to increase the numbers who can attend the banquet and we will be giving tickets to those who have missed out in the order they have registered.


Registration is now open and your ITS 2013 registration fee now includes:

  1. Attendance at the ITS main conference sessions in Younger Hall on Monday and Tuesday and for the first session and joint capstone/keynote on Wednesday until 10am
  2. Attendance at the ITS poster and demonstration sessions during the morning coffee breaks and afternoon coffee breaks, on Monday and Tuesday
  3. Lunch on Monday and Tuesday
  4. Opening reception on Sunday and conference banquet on Monday, where space permits
  5. Conference materials.


You should register early to ensure you can take full advantage of the entire conference and social program. Depending on registration numbers we reserve the right to limit the numbers who can attend the conference banquet and reception. These social events are held in grand venue of the Lower College Hall with its grand interiors in St Salvator's Quadrangle, in the University of St Andrews.

Joint Registration with UIST 2013

ITS 2013 is collocated with the ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology 2013 (UIST). Please note that UIST starts on Oct 8 just after ITS ends. Please note, we are offering a discounted joint registration fee during the early bird registration period only (July 19-September 6).

  • Student: $525
  • Non-member: $995

Use the ITS 2013 online registration system to register for the conference.


This price does not include ITS workshops, which can be purchased for $60 during the registration process.


To be clear: There is no joint registration on offer during the regular or late/on-site registration periods.


Therefore, after Sept 6 2013 you must register for ITS and UIST separately. The ITS only rates for early, regular and late/on-site times are shown below.

Workshops/tutorials cost $60 when bought with a registration, workshops and tutorials only cost $150.

Cancellation Policy

Prior to September 20th, 2013, cancellations will be refunded in full (minus credit card charges). Cancellations received from September 21st, 2013 through Friday October 5th, 2013 will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after October 5th, 2013.

Visas

The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas. We can however issue a visa support letter.

For visa support letters, please send all requests to supportletters@acm.org with the following information:

  1. Your name as it appears on your passport.
  2. Your current mailing address.
  3. The name of the conference you wish to attend (ITS 2013).
  4. Your registration confirmation number for ITS 2013.
  5. If you are the author of any papers accepted for ITS 2013, please provide the title.
  6. Your email address.

Please note visa support letters are issued via email by PDF, and the original is mailed to your current postal address.
